Abstract

본 증례는 전북대학교 치과대학 병원에 좌측 구개부에 무통성의 외방성 병소를 주소로 내
원한 29세 여자 환자로서 임상 검사, 방사선학적검사, 조직병리학적 검사를 통하여 점막유표
피 종양으로 확진되었으며 다음과 같은 특징적인 소견이 관찰되었다.
1. 임상적으로, 좌측 구개부위에서 외방성 병소가 관찰되고 다형성 선종과 유사한 소견을
보였다.
2. 방사선사진상에서 구개부, 비중격, 하비갑개, 상악동저의 부분적인 골파괴 소견과 함께,
연조직 종괴가 관찰되었다.
3. 조직 병리학적으로 점 액분비세포, 유표피세포, 중간세포들이 관찰되고 중급의 악성도
를 보이는 점막유표피종양의 소견을 보였다.

Authors experienced a case of intermediate grade mucoepidermoid carcinoma in
29-year-old female. The origin of this tumor might be mucus secreting cells of palatal
mucous gland.
The characteristic features were as follows:
1. In clinical examination, exopytic mass was observed in left hard palate and similar
to pleomorphic adenoma.
2. In radiographic findings, destructive changes of left hard palate, nasal septum, nasal
inferior turbinate and floor of maxillary sinus and soft tissue mass were observed.
3. Histopathologically, mucus-secreting cells, epidermoid cells and intermediate cells
were observed and diagnosed as intermediate grade mucoepidermoid carcinoma.
